Why School Bullying Must Be Stopped

Bullying in schools is one of the biggest challenges facing learners today. It affects confidence, mental health, academic performance, and friendships. Whether it’s name-calling, exclusion, or physical intimidation, bullying has no place in our schools.

The BOUNCE Beyond Bullying campaign brings a message of resilience, kindness, and courage, delivered through a high-energy live performance that kids remember long after the curtain closes.

What is BOUNCE Beyond Bullying?

This 30 to 40-minute show follows the story of BINC, a student who faces bullying and learns how to bounce back with the help of his friends and the crowd.

The performance includes:

  • Physical theatre
  • Interactive storytelling
  • Dance and music
  • Crowd participation
  • A final anti-bullying pledge
  • Resource pack available post show to the school

Kids learn how to identify a bully, how to stand up for themselves, and how to support each other, all while having fun.

Perfect for Primary Schools

The show is ideal for learners aged 6 to 13 (primary school learner). It complements the Life Orientation curriculum and gives your school a positive way to tackle school bullying head-on. Whether you’re a teacher, a principal, or a parent who cares, this campaign is for you.

We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. With your help, we can take the message of resilience and kindness into schools.

Fill in your school’s details and we’ll get in touch to schedule a performance date that suits your calendar.

  1. Performances are between 25 minutes to 30 minutes. Along with pupil interactions, we generally request 45 minutes during assembly time.

  2. Currently we are looking to visit primary schools in the Johannesburg and Pretoria regions.

  3. We just need a stage and plug points. Thats it. We bring everything with us for the performance.

  4. The show is available to schools within a 20km radius of their nearest BOUNCE venue in Johannesburg and Pretoria. This show is not available in KZN just yet.
